Ami
Mom. Widow. Jesus follower. Song expresser. People lover. Memory cherisher. Home-school promoter. Wholeness advocate. Healthy food balancer (sometimes enforcer!). Multi-tasker (or is it procrastinator?). Seeker. Believer. Learner. Dreamer.
I love words. I love the meanings of names. My name means “Beloved. Follower of the Lord.”
I want to love as much as I have been loved. I want to raise champions. The world is big, and though I am small, I want to make a splash with my dash in the timeline.
For eternity. For Jesus. For Love. For always.

J. Michael
This kid. His name means “Divine Peace. Who is like the Lord.” He was born with a smile and a giant belly laugh! I could have charged money for the amount of calls I used to receive, “Can JM come to our house to play with my kids? They’re about to kill each other, but when he’s here, they somehow get along!” So, while he writes, I can promise you that whatever he shares will be quirky, nerdy, full of peace, and laughter. He’s one classy guy. And because he has so much of his heroic father built-in, he’s also growing into… a champion.

Sadiella
This girl. Her name has a big meaning for her larger-than-life personality, “Princess. Who is Brighter than the Sun. Full of Grace and Mercy.” Her creativity can hit overdrive, and when it does, she raps on the fly, she draws and paints all over herself or anything she can find. She has a passion for cooking, and wants to have a restaurant someday (Souper Happiness, “where we serve more than soup and everyone leaves HAPPY!”). So, you may see her singing, serving, or singing while she’s serving. She has a heart for her “elders” and anyone sick or in need. She’s a true baby whisperer and would have her own zoo if only I’d let her. Whatever she decides to share with you, it’s sure to come from a recipe of some kind of wonderful.

I’m Living My Best Mediocre Life!
Lately, I have been accepting less spinning and seeking calm focus. My head-space has been in a war with the lesser level of purposed activity. It's as if thoughts and ideas have not transformed into inspired actions quickly enough, and now are cycling in my mind......

Best Nines and Words of the Years (’15-’18, the Light Years)
As the time passes beyond this #anothersecond, and as we walk into this year 2019, I looked back at my best nine images of the last four years. I thought I'd call out the themes of each year: 2015 I find it interesting that other than our Easter photo of 2015, eight...
