The body.

Recognizing when something feels unwell is important, and the sooner the better! It is important to pay attention to the signals that flash through what we see, taste, smell, hear, and touch. From the point of recognition, the next step is to match the “alarm” with the associated body system. Systems-Over-Symptoms becomes the way of the game, and will lead to a much stronger “win!”

The soul.

The soul is made up of the mind, will, and emotions. In keeping with the Number 4, let’s split the mind into both LOGIC and IMAGINATION. Think about your soul, and how easy it is to reason a bad decision into becoming a reality, to imagine yourself into fear-filled places, and that’s just the uncontrolled mind. What about when your WILL digs in? That might be good, but it may lead you headstrong into trouble if you are out of balance. Finally, have you ever let your EMOTIONS rule you? Scripture tells us that our emotions can be deceitful above all things. Our emotions help our bodies cope, but we need to know what they are and how to handle them without being ruled by them. When the physical body aches, the soul can act out of balance or control. When any of these arenas in the soul have unrest, the symptoms can show up in physical stress. Do you see how interconnected these areas are within us? Someone sad will stop eating or overeat. Someone angry may develop strong headaches. Internal stress will show itself physically, and vice versa. So how do we tame the soul, really?

The spirit.

We need help and stability from words. Words create and destroy. And not just any words. Number 3 stands for our spirit. As we seek to yield our spirit to the Spirit and Truth of the Living God, then we grow in WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, and UNDERSTANDING. We feed our spirit with LIFEWORDS that will have a powerful and positive impact on every area of the soul and the body. Surrender then becomes a vital part of healing. Areas far deeper than the physical self become strong, and that strength will permeate through and through. The greatest benefit of fueling the spirit is PERSPECTIVE. It’s like being able to look at life in all of its hardship from an aerial view — a higher plane. This surrendered place changes everything, even if things beyond our control do not change at all.

Prayer.

The Number 2 stands for the two-way conversation that happens on our knees. “For this reason ______, I kneel” has become a constant in our lives. There are studies showing that the body even utilizes nutrients from food more fully in people who receive it with words of gratitude than in those who do not pray. There. Is. Power. When. We. Pray.

The One.

The One Maker knows and wants what is best for the One Whole You. In applying this countdown through successes and failures, through highest fulfillments and deepest loss, I am learning – and teaching my children – the art of living in gratitude. In the moment. Letting go of what needs to be released while holding fast to the things eternal. I am growing in these areas, and sharing with others as often as opportunity allows.

We desire wholeness in every home. Every body.  For, no one is off limits.

In fact every… one… everyone… may take delight in being remade.

Made Whole.

We hope you will join the Journey!
